Senior Software Engineer

  • Architect, implement and lead challenging software projects
  • Contribute to architecture design for software development projects
  • Work with clients to design systems that can include components from firmware to frontend
  • Coordinate technical approach with cross-discipline team members
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and define ideal technical strategies
  • Contribute to product requirements and specifications
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices of software engineering team
  • Mentor junior engineers and learn from other team engineers
  • Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members


  • 5+ years of equivalent experience in software development
  • Experience interacting with external clients as a primary communicator
  • Experience interfacing with RESTFUL and other APIs
  • Experience with building backend and front end software
  • Experience with software test and automation
  • Curiosity to learn and try new frameworks/APIs/languages
  • Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or other similar platforms
  • Comfortable developing on Linux
  • Self motivated, detail oriented, team player
  • Open to feedback and comfortable giving constructive feedback
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy is a bonus
  • Experience with Android or iOS development is a bonus
